Counselling for women: your path to wellbeing

Welcome, I’m Belinda

You may have looked up ‘counselling for women’ for a specific reason. You might also have looked it up because you just feel stuck and you’re not sure why. Truth is, life is messy. It’s rarely one thing that leads us to counselling.

Most women I work with seek help for low self-esteem, managing anxiety and improving low mood. Many identify as being empaths and highly sensitive.

But underneath it all is a common thread – a deep desire to rewrite the story they’ve been told, and sometimes the one they’ve been telling themself, so they can feel more connected to their true self, empowered in their choices, and fulfilled in their relationships.

If this is you, you’re in the right place.

Understanding your journey

Navigating life’s challenges can be overwhelming. Perhaps you’re experiencing a significant life transition, grappling with the impact of past experiences, struggling with burnout, processing a loss, or navigating the unique challenges of high sensitivity. These experiences can bring feelings of anxiety, stress, or even depression.

If this resonates with you, I hear you, and you are not alone.

What to expect:

Our work together will help you move towards a more connected, fulfilling life. Whilst the process is not linear, it tends to occur through three stages:

Reconnect:
We’ll begin by creating a safe space together, where you can explore your experiences and build a deeper understanding of yourself. You’ll learn practical tools such as therapeutic journaling to help manage stress and overwhelm, and create a sense of calm. This step is about exploring the underlying causes of what you’re going through, building your resilience, and finding a clearer sense of who you are. It’s the first step towards feeling less stuck and moving forward with more confidence.

Reflect and let go:
In this stage, we’ll gently explore and process any difficult emotions or past experiences that might still be affecting you. We’ll work together in a safe and supportive way, allowing you to release what no longer serves you. By addressing these deeper feelings, you’ll develop greater self-compassion, gain emotional clarity, and feel more empowered. This creates a strong foundation for lasting positive change.

Renew:
This phase centres on collaboratively defining meaningful goals, exploring your core values, and crafting a life aligned with your authentic self. Through this process, we’ll integrate newly developed coping mechanisms and reinforce healthier thought patterns, leading to a renewed sense of purpose, direction, and connection.

Growth is a process – sometimes difficult – ALWAYS worth it.
